Warranty / Complaints / ODR

Warranty at YellowStars.shop:
We love our products...and we do our best to deliver them in top condition to you. Nevertheless, it sometimes happens that an order is damaged during transport or that something else happened. If this occurs you can make a warranty claim. Legally, you are required to do this within two months after the default was detected and notify us about this. If the defect falls within the warranty, we will carry out a repair or send a replacement. YellowStars warrants its products against possible defects in materials and workmanship through a standard 2-year warranty. This guarantee is only valid when the product is used normally for the designated purposes. Before we proceed to a repair, replace or refund the returned products will be subject to examination and approval by YellowStars.shop. Please contact us at info(at)yellowstars.shop.
-If the damage and / or defect can not be repaired, we will replace the product.
-If we cannot replace it with the same product you have the choice between replacement by a similar product of comparable value or a refund of the purchase price paid at YellowStars.shop.
-The following reasons are outside the standard warranty: damage caused by abuse (such as cracks, cuts and holes that are made deliberately in the fabric), cosmetic damage (such as stains on the fabric), scratched coatings and color change of the substance by, for example, exposure to excessive sunlight, etc. Please note that over time every product will show discolouration. Canvas is a natural product so it might show earlier than with products like polyester.
-We never cover consequential damages including damages caused by loss of the contents of the bag, loss through use, loss of time etc.
-We will not cover damage caused by airlines or other transport damage.

Complaints:
We encourage you to notify us first of any complaints by emailing us at info@(at)yellowstars.shop. We will do all we can to make sure the complaint is dealt with quickly and correctly. From February 15, 2016 it is also possible for EU consumers to log complaints via the ODR platform from the European Commission. This ODR platform can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
